Yttrium(III) tris(isopropoxide) is a catalyst for stereoselective conjugate addition reactions, ring-opening polymerization, generation of reactive enolates, allylic substitution and cyano-phosphorylation of enones and synthesis of nanocomposites.

Air and moisture sensitive. Store away from air, carbondioxide, water/moisture, strong bases and oxidizing agents. Keep the container tightly closed and place it in a cool, dry and well ventilated condition. Store under inert gas.
